Installation: Supplied as standard for domestic buildings. Some restrictions may apply to roof position or if multiples systems are installed together.

Rating: Tp(b) fire rated – does not self-extinguish.

Manufacturing method: Injection moulded, incorporating UV inhibitors, over 3mm thick.

Strength: Less impact resistant than polycarbonate, but stronger than glass.

Light Transmittance: Light transmittance greater than polycarbonate.

Clarity: Guaranteed against discolouration.

Sustainability: Recyclable.

Polycarbonate dome

Installation: Supplied as standard for all commercial and public buildings. No restrictions apply.

Rating: Tp(a) fire rated – does not sustain a flame and will self-extinguish.

Manufacturing method: Injection moulded, incorporating UV inhibitors, over 3mm thick.

Strength: Superior strength – stronger than acrylic and significantly stronger than glass.

Light Transmittance: Light transmittance 95%.

Clarity: Guaranteed against excessive discolouration.

Sustainability: Recyclable.

Solatube selectively redirects, reflects and delivers the visible spectrum of daylight to interior spaces. At the same time, it filters out infra-red wavelengths to reduce daytime cooling loads.
